UPI Transaction Limits Increase for Larger Payments
Starting September 15, 2025, you can pay more money using UPI.
This change means you can use UPI for bigger payments, like insurance or travel bookings.
NPCI, which runs UPI, has raised the limits for certain businesses that have been checked and approved.
Now, you might be able to pay up to Rs 5 lakh at once and Rs 10 lakh in a day.
This makes it easier to pay large amounts digitally and helps businesses and people.
However, keep in mind that not all merchants will have these higher limits, and there are security measures in place.
