Ladakh Opens Leh’s First Three-Tier Stacked Parking Facility

Leh has opened Ladakh’s first three-level parking facility.

It can hold 30 vehicles while using less city land.

Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena opened the facility on Monday.

He also gave subsidies to people who bought electric cars.

The subsidies are part of Ladakh’s plan to encourage cleaner travel.

An electric-car rally was held to see how the vehicles work in Ladakh.

The region has high mountains, cold weather and difficult roads.
