Kurnool clears 250 vacant plots
In Kurnool, the city's leaders decided to clean up many empty plots of land.
They used big machines to cut down wild plants and remove trash from over 250 places.
The leader, Mr. P. Vishwanath, started the cleaning and checked the work in different areas.
He found one place very messy and told his team to clean it completely.
He also scolded a nearby hospital for throwing dangerous waste and said they might lose their license.
He explained that cleaning these places is important to keep people healthy and safe from mosquitoes and snakes.
The Municipal Corporation of Kurnool conducted a large-scale sanitation drive to clear wild vegetation from 250 vacant plots using 15 JCB machines.
Commissioner P. Vishwanath flagged off the drive and personally inspected sanitation works in Shareen Nagar and Venkataramana Colony.
In Venkataramana Colony, the Commissioner ordered the complete clearance of a vacant plot with dense wild growth and garbage due to the landowner's neglect.
The Commissioner expressed displeasure over a hospital dumping hazardous waste and instructed officials to recommend the cancellation of the hospital’s trade license.
The drive aims to prevent the spread of mosquitoes, snakes, and poisonous insects, which can cause seasonal diseases.
