Fire at Bhopal Bridal Studio Delayed by Encroachments
A big fire started at a bridal shop in Bhopal on a Friday afternoon.
It was probably caused by a short circuit and burned many expensive wedding dresses.
The fire was hard to reach because the streets were very narrow and had illegal buildings blocking the way.
People in the market used buckets of water to stop the fire from spreading before the fire trucks could get there.
Finally, 12 firefighters and 3 trucks arrived and put out the fire in about 50 minutes.
Massive fire broke out at Nema Designer Studio in Bhopal's Chowk Bazaar on Friday afternoon.
Fire suspected to be caused by a short circuit, destroying bridal lehengas worth lakhs of rupees.
Narrow lanes and roadside encroachments in Loha Bazaar delayed fire tenders by nearly an hour.
Firefighters reached the site after 50 minutes, controlling the blaze with 12 personnel and 3 vehicles.
Local residents and shopkeepers used buckets of water to prevent spread before official help arrived.
