Karnataka Leadership Tussle Amid Corruption Allegations
In Karnataka, there is a big argument between political leaders.
DK Shivakumar, who is the Deputy Chief Minister, is being questioned about an expensive watch he owns.
He says he told everyone about it.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders are accusing the Karnataka government of being very corrupt.
They say the government has had many scandals, like a big money scam.
The Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, says the BJP is just making things up.
There is also a fight within the Congress party about who should be the next Chief Minister.
Shivakumar and another leader, Satish Jarkiholi, met and said they are just friends and colleagues.
They both said they talked about the party and the state, but nothing about changing leadership.
The BJP is watching all this and saying the Congress is not united.
DK Shivakumar defended his ownership of an expensive watch, claiming he disclosed it transparently.
BJP's R Ashoka criticized the Karnataka government for corruption, highlighting several scandals including a Rs 87 crore scam.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah defended his government, accusing Ashoka of misinterpreting a report to target the current government.
Shivakumar and Satish Jarkiholi met at a wedding event, downplaying speculation about leadership tussle and stating they discussed party and state matters.
