Rijiju Appeals for Chakma and Hajong Relocation in Arunachal Pradesh
Kiren Rijiju, a government minister, wants the Chakma and Hajong communities living in Arunachal Pradesh to move somewhere else.
He says they shouldn't live in tribal areas because of laws meant to protect the people already there.
He says the government can't force them to leave, but they're offering help to move.
Rijiju also talked about a new law that says even if people from other countries get citizenship, they still can't settle in these protected tribal areas.
He wants the communities to find a new place to live and is worried that they aren't cooperating with finding a relocation site.
