India's Electronics Industry Gears Up for 2026
The Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA) is hosting a big event called Source India – Electronics Supply Chain 2026 in Chennai on February 10-11, 2026.
This event will bring together many important people in the electronics industry, like buyers, suppliers, and companies that make electronic parts.
They will talk about different types of electronics, such as components, semiconductors, and even things like AI and drones.
Big companies like 3M India and Nokia will be there.
The event is a big deal because it helps small and big companies work together to make better electronics in India.
Meanwhile, FICCI, another industry group, is asking the government to create a huge electronics park to make India more self-reliant.
They want to put all the important companies in one place to make things easier and better.
They also want the government to make it simpler to import and export electronic parts, and to support the recovery and processing of critical minerals needed for electronics and clean energy.
ELCINA will host the fifteenth Source India – Electronics Supply Chain 2026 in Chennai on February 10-11, 2026.
The event will bring together various members from the electronics value chain, including buyers, suppliers, OEMs, ODMs, EMS players, MSMEs, and global investors.
Key segments covered include electronic components, PCBs, semiconductors, EV and automotive electronics, telecom and 5G, defense electronics, consumer electronics, industrial and medical electronics, and emerging technologies like AI, IoT, smart cities, drones, and surveillance systems.
Notable companies participating include 3M India, Carl Zeiss, Dixon Technologies, Flex, Havells, Larsen & Toubro, MacDermid Alpha, MEL System, Nokia, Syrma SGS, TVS Electronics, Valeo, Zetwerk, and Sona Comstar.
FICCI has proposed the establishment of a Mega Electronics Industrial Park to promote inclusive growth, support MSMEs, and ensure sustainability through green energy, water reuse, and safe worker housing.
