Judge Dismisses Trump Administration's Antisemitism Lawsuit Against Harvard

The government thought Harvard was not doing enough to protect Jewish students from mean and unfair treatment.

They said Harvard had a problem with antisemitism, which means being unkind to people because they are Jewish.

The government took Harvard to court to try to make it stop.

A judge named Richard Stearns listened to the case.

He said the government did not bring enough proof to back up its claims.

Most of the things the government talked about happened during one school year, from 2023 to 2024.

The judge said these events were "too isolated and episodic" to show a big problem.

He decided the case could not continue, so he dismissed it.

That means the government's complaint was thrown out of court.
