Karnataka Plans Changes to Mysuru Dasara Celebrations

Karnataka is thinking about changing its annual Mysuru Dasara celebrations.

Chief Minister D K Shivakumar said the festival should keep up with changes in technology and culture.

He mentioned that artificial intelligence is among the newer technologies.

He has asked the Defence Minister to send troops and arrange an air show.

He wants young people to learn discipline from the armed forces.

Shivakumar also wants the Tibetan community in Bylakuppe to share its traditions.

He said Kannada film artistes, both new and experienced, should take part too.

Neighbouring states have been asked to send displays called tableaux so people can see their cultures.
