Maharashtra Sanctuaries Close for Breeding Season
Several wildlife sanctuaries in Maharashtra, including Gautala Autramghat and Pench Tiger Reserve, are closing parts or all of their areas to tourists.
This is happening because it's breeding season for the animals and birds, and the forest department wants to avoid disturbing them.
The closure at Gautala will run from July 1 to September 15.
Some safari access in Pench will still be available in the buffer zone.
This decision aims to protect wildlife during the monsoon.
