Vice-President Urges IAS Trainees to Serve Inclusive Development

Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan spoke to new IAS officers after they completed the second part of their training.

He told them that public servants should care about helping people and doing their duty.

He said development should reach everyone, including people in remote places.

He asked the officers to work well in teams instead of focusing only on individual success.

He also said honesty and good character are important for leaders.

About 41 percent of the officers in the batch are women.

He encouraged them to use technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve government services.

He said their work should help solve people’s problems and make citizens feel heard and empowered.
