Miscreants torch vehicles, fake Maoist posters found
Some bad people set fire to three vehicles belonging to a contractor in Odisha, India.
They also put up fake posters that looked like they were from a group called Maoists.
The posters demanded a lot of money and threatened the contractor.
The police think these bad people are not really Maoists but are trying to scare everyone and make the police confused.
This is not the first time this has happened.
Last year, the contractor's own son did something similar and was arrested.
Now, the police are trying to find out who did this latest crime.
Miscreants torched 3 vehicles of a contractor in Kalahandi district, Odisha.
Fake Maoist posters and threatening letters demanding Rs 35 lakh were found at the scene.
Police determined the posters were fake and not linked to actual Maoist activity.
The contractor's son was previously arrested for a similar incident in October 2023.
Police are investigating the current incident to identify the perpetrators.
