Singapore Couple Missing After Nepal Floods, Daughters Appeal

Singapore Couple Missing After Nepal Floods, Daughters Appeal

A Singaporean couple went to Nepal for a pilgrimage and then stopped communicating with their daughters.

Their daughters, Karnika and Tanisha, have not heard from them for almost two days.

The couple were reportedly traveling near the Tibet border when serious floods happened.

The sisters are asking rescue teams and government agencies to search for their parents.

They are also asking Apple and Huawei whether the parents’ smartwatches can help show their location.

The Singapore Embassy and High Commission have been giving the family updates.

Many other people are also missing after the floods.

Reports say at least 359 people have died, but the numbers may change as rescuers collect more information.
