MP School Students Study Under Tarps for Years
In a village in India, kids are going to school in a very tough way.
Their school building is broken, so they have to learn under a roof made of plastic, or in a small house.
This has been happening for about five years.
The teachers are trying their best, but it's hard, especially when it rains.
The people in the village want a new school, but it hasn't been built yet.
The school officials know about it and say they will fix it, but the students are still waiting for a proper school.
Students in Madhya Pradesh's Malpura village have been studying in makeshift classrooms for 4-5 years.
The original school building is dilapidated, forcing classes to be held under tarpaulin and in a local resident's hut.
101 students are currently enrolled and taught by Principal Dinesh Chauhan and teacher Anil Solanki.
Villagers have repeatedly requested a proper school building, but no construction has begun.
Authorities have been informed and action is expected, but no progress has been made.
