Amrabad Tiger Reserve to Close for Monsoon Season
The Amrabad Tiger Reserve is closing its doors to tourists for a couple of months because it's the rainy season.
Every year, they do this from July to September to give the animals a break and do some upkeep.
This year, people saw more tigers, leopards, and bears.
During the closure, they will fix up the places where visitors stay.
The goal is to let the animals have peace and quiet, except for the road that goes through the reserve.
Then they reopen in October.
Amrabad Tiger Reserve closes for monsoon break from July 1 to September 30.
The reserve, popular for tourism, shuts down annually for two months.
Increased sightings of tigers, leopards, and sloth bears were reported this season.
Routine maintenance will be conducted on tourism facilities during the closure.
The break allows animals an undisturbed environment in the core area.
