PG Doctors Protest MD/MS Exam Irregularities
Doctors who are studying to become specialists in medicine had a protest in Hyderabad.
They said the results of their big exams were not fair.
They think the people who checked their answer sheets gave them low marks even when they answered correctly.
The doctors also said some questions were not in their study materials, and the rules for checking the exams were not followed properly.
They want the government and the National Medical Commission to help make the exam process fairer.
They are asking for extra marks to be added, just like in another type of exam, to help them not fail because of these problems.
Postgraduate doctors protested in Hyderabad against alleged discrepancies in MD/MS exam results.
They claimed low marks were awarded for correct answers and evaluation was inconsistent.
Doctors demanded grace marks similar to those provided in DNB examinations.
Concerns were raised about out-of-syllabus questions and improper paper demarcation.
Protesters alleged that exam papers were not corrected by external or experienced professors.
