Suriya Wraps Up 'Suriya 47' Shoot, Targets Diwali Release
Suriya, a popular Tamil actor, has finished filming his new movie called Suriya 47.
The director is Jithu Madhavan.
The movie will show Suriya as a police officer and will have Nazriya Nazim as the female lead.
The makers want to release the film during the Diwali festival, but they have not set a specific date yet.
Suriya also has another film, Vishwanath and Sons, that is expected to come out on August 14, 2026.
Suriya finished shooting his film "Suriya 47" directed by Jithu Madhavan.
The makers plan a Diwali release, but no official date has been announced.
"Suriya 47" will be Suriya's third straight theatrical release after "Karuppu".
Nazriya Nazim stars as the female lead and Nasleen has a prominent role.
Suriya is also waiting for the release of "Vishwanath and Sons" slated for 14 August 2026.
