Delhi Police Faces Delay in Filling Four Special Commissioner Posts
The Delhi Police has several top-level jobs open because the people in charge left.
These jobs are for important units, like the one that fights terrorism.
It's been a while since these jobs were filled, which is unusual.
No one is sure why, but some people think there might not be enough senior officers to take over.
While the police are still working, it's taking longer than usual to appoint new leaders.
Four Special Commissioner posts in the Delhi Police remain vacant.
These include positions in HRD, Security, Special Cell, and LLD.
The Special Cell has been without a full-time Special Commissioner for over one-and-a-half months.
Vacancies in the other divisions have persisted for nearly a month.
