Chartered Accountants urged to adopt artificial intelligence and quantum technologies
At a big meeting of accountants in Mangalagiri, a special leader named Lanka Dinakar gave a speech.
He told the accountants, called Chartered Accountants or CAs, to learn about new technologies.
These include Artificial Intelligence, which is when computers do smart things, and Quantum Computing, a very powerful new kind of computing.
He said these technologies are changing how finance and auditing work.
He explained that the future CA cannot only do traditional accounting and tax work.
The leader also said India wants to become a rich and modern country by the year 2047.
The state of Andhra Pradesh has a similar dream called Swarna Andhra Pradesh.
He said everyone, including accountants, must help make these dreams come true.
He told the accountants to help businesses, improve tax rules, and guide small companies and start-ups.
Lanka Dinakar, chairman of the Twenty Points Programme (Viksit Bharat–Swarna Andhra Pradesh) Implementation, urged Chartered Accountants to adopt AI, Quantum Computing, Digital Finance, FinTech and Data Analytics.
The appeal was made at the closing session of the 58th two-day Conference of the South Indian Regional Council (SIRC) of ICAI at CK Convention in Mangalagiri.
Dinakar said Viksit Bharat @2047 is a national mission, not merely a government programme, requiring participation from every sector and professional community.
He described Chartered Accountants as custodians of financial discipline, transparency, accountability and good governance.
He urged CAs to support business formalisation, improve tax compliance, strengthen corporate governance, facilitate responsible investment and mentor MSMEs and start-ups.
Dinakar said the CA profession plays a crucial role in translating the visions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu into tangible outcomes.
