UP Chief Secretary Orders Cyber Security Measures

The Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, S P Goyal, has ordered the implementation of the e-Zero FIR system and the appointment of cyber awareness nodal officers in every government department.

This is part of a broader effort to make Uttar Pradesh a leader in cyber security.

Goyal emphasized the importance of public awareness and directed officials to use various media channels to educate people about digital scams and frauds.

The state is also strengthening its intelligence-led campaign, Operation Cyber Vajra, and aims to improve the cyber grievance redressal mechanism.

The Director General of Police (Cyber Crime) reported that most components of the Uttar Pradesh State Cyber Coordination Centre (UPS4C) are operational, and the state is performing well in grievance redressal and cyber crime investigation training.
