Tripura CM Praises Students' Talent and Creativity
The Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha, recently praised the students of the state for their talent and creativity.
He said that Tripura's children are just as talented as those from other states and have made the state proud by excelling in various fields at the national level.
The government is providing facilities to help develop these talents.
Dr Saha inaugurated a state-level band competition where he highlighted how such activities help students develop discipline, patience, and teamwork.
He mentioned that participating in such events is important, even if they don't win.
The competition is part of a national initiative started in 2017 and has been held in Tripura since 2019.
Ten teams from seven schools participated, and the best team will go on to compete in a zonal competition in Ranchi.

The State Level Inter-School Band Competition 2025 was inaugurated at Umakanta English Medium H/S School Playground, Agartala.

The competition is seen as a platform for showcasing discipline, unity, and creativity, with participation being more important than winning.
The band competition has been organized in Tripura since 2019 as part of a national initiative started in 2017 under the Union Ministry of Education.
