DPCC floats tender for 13 air quality monitoring stations

The city of Delhi wants cleaner air for everyone.

To help with that, special machines check how dirty the air is.

These machines are called air quality monitoring stations.

They measure tiny dust particles and gases like smoke and ozone.

The people in charge of Delhi's air have asked companies to build 13 new machines.

The company that wins the job must also take care of the machines for 10 years.

The company must have lots of experience and enough money to do the work.

Companies can ask questions on August 10 and must send their offers by August 20.

Delhi already has some of these machines and wants them spread all across the city.

Knowing exactly how dirty the air is helps leaders make rules to keep people healthier.
