NaBFID Lines Up ₹3,000 Crore Loans to Expand India’s Data Hubs

NaBFID Lines Up ₹3,000 Crore Loans to Expand India’s Data Hubs

NaBFID is preparing loans to help build more data centres in India.

Data centres are large facilities that store and process digital information.

Building them costs a lot because they need land, electricity, cooling systems, and special equipment.

The loans can give companies up to five years before they begin repayment.

After that, the loans can be repaid over 10 years.

NaBFID says data centres can produce steady income once they start operating.

The bank expects India’s data centres to need about ₹1 lakh crore by March 2031.

It is also raising money from foreign lenders and investors.

These projects are part of India’s growing digital and artificial-intelligence infrastructure.
