Fake Ghee Racket Busted in Uttar Pradesh; Five Arrested
Imagine some people were making fake ghee to sell.
They mixed cheap oils and artificial flavors to make it smell like real ghee.
They then put this fake ghee in boxes and wrappers that looked like famous brands like Amul and Madhusudan.
The police found them with lots of the fake ghee, the fake wrappers, and the machines they used.
They arrested five people who were doing this.
The police also found out that they were putting Mayur salt into Tata Salt packets and selling old coffee as new.
Now, the police are trying to find out where all this fake stuff was being sold.
Police in Uttar Pradesh seized 923 litres of fake ghee and counterfeit wrappers.
Five men were arrested for allegedly running the fake ghee racket for years.
The group mixed Dalda and refined oil with artificial essence to create the fake ghee.
Fake ghee was packaged in counterfeit wrappers of popular brands like Amul and Madhusudan.
