Political leaders clash over Hindutva and civic issues
Uddhav Thackeray and his cousin Raj Thackeray had a big meeting in Nashik.
They criticized the BJP, saying the party doesn't really care about Hindutva and is choosing bad leaders instead of loyal members.
They also didn't like that the BJP is cutting down trees in Nashik.
Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister, said that the Thackerays were born in Mumbai but didn't do much to help the city.
Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar and Supriya Sule, who are from different parts of the same family's political party, came together to release a plan for better cities in Pune.
They promised to fix many problems like traffic and water supply.
Both sides are trying to win votes in the upcoming elections.
Uddhav and Raj Thackeray held a joint rally in Nashik, criticizing the BJP for not upholding Hindutva and inducting 'tainted' leaders.
Devendra Fadnavis countered by saying the Thackerays, despite being born in Mumbai, failed to address the city's problems.
Raj Thackeray alleged civic elections were influenced by money and pressure, and criticized the delay in holding municipal elections.
Ajit Pawar and Supriya Sule released a joint manifesto for Pune civic polls, promising improvements in infrastructure, water management, and public transport.
The BJP was accused by both the Thackerays and Ajit Pawar of poor governance and development record in Nashik and Pune.
