US Army Offers Four Days Off for GTA VI Reenlistment
The United States Army is offering some soldiers four days off to play Grand Theft Auto VI.
The game is scheduled to be released on November 19.
The offer is available to soldiers in one battalion at Fort Stewart, Georgia.
There are 130 soldiers who can use the offer.
At least 20 have already agreed to reenlist.
To qualify, a soldier must promise to serve for at least two more years.
The commitment can last as long as six years.
The Army says the offer is meant to keep experienced soldiers and encourage reenlistment.
Soldiers and their commanders will decide the exact dates of the four-day break.
The 9th Brigade Engineer Battalion at Fort Stewart is offering eligible soldiers a four-day pass for Grand Theft Auto VI’s November 19 release.
Soldiers must sign a reenlistment contract for at least two years and may commit for up to six years.
The offer applies to 130 eligible soldiers, with at least 20 already accepting the incentive.
Qualifying contracts must be signed between August 1 and November 14.
