Lok Sabha Adjourned Amid Opposition Slogans
The Lok Sabha, India's lower house of Parliament, was supposed to start its regular meeting on Thursday.
But very soon after it began, members of the opposition shouted slogans about many different problems.
The Speaker, Om Birla, asked everyone to keep going with the Question Hour, a part of the meeting where members ask the government questions.
Because the opposition wouldn't stop shouting, the Speaker decided to pause the meeting until 2 pm.
This pause shows how tense the Parliament can be when different parties disagree.
Lok Sabha adjourned until 2 pm on Thursday after the House convened.
Opposition members shouted slogans on multiple issues during proceedings.
Speaker Om Birla asked members to continue Question Hour but was unable to.
The adjournment was announced minutes after the session began.
The incident reflects ongoing parliamentary tensions.
