DGCA's Pilot Training School Ratings Reveal Concerns
Imagine you want to become a pilot.
Before you can fly, you have to go to a special school.
Recently, the government checked 35 of these schools in India.
Sadly, none of them got the best grades.
Many schools got low grades, which means the training might not be good enough, or safe enough.
This is a problem because lots of people want to fly, and we need well-trained pilots.
The government is now asking these schools to get better, and will check them again in a few years.
If schools don't improve, the government might take action.
DGCA released its first-ever rankings for Flying Training Organisations (FTOs).
No FTOs received an A+ or A rating, and 22 received a C rating.
Training infrastructure and safety standards are key areas where schools are falling short.
The DGCA will issue notices to underperforming FTOs.
The rankings aim to improve the quality and safety of pilot training in India.
