Kolkata Metro Adds Special Services for PSC Exam
The Kolkata Metro is running extra trains on December 28 to help people taking a big test called the PSC Clerkship exam.
They will start earlier at 8 a.m.
instead of 9 a.m.
and run more trains on the Blue and Green lines.
The trains will come more often during the afternoon and evening.
The Yellow line will run normally, but the Purple and Orange lines won't run that day.
This is to make it easier for people to get to their test on time.
Kolkata Metro will run 168 services on the Blue Line and 131 on the Green Line on 28 December for PSC Clerkship exam aspirants.
Services will start at 8 a.m. instead of the usual 9 a.m. on both lines.
The Blue Line will have trains every 8 minutes from 3.20 p.m. to 7.20 p.m., and the Green Line every 10 minutes from 4 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
Normal services will be available on the Yellow Line, while the Purple and Orange lines will have no services.
The last service timings and the special service from Howrah Maidan to Central Park will remain unchanged.
