AHPI to Define Criteria for Medical Tourism

AHPI to Define Criteria for Medical Tourism

The Association of Healthcare Providers (India) (AHPI) is working with the UAE’s Mulk Med Healthcare Group to make it easier for people from other countries to get medical treatment in India.

They want to fix problems like high costs and poor follow-up care.

AHPI will create rules for hospitals to follow, so patients get good care.

They aim to include about 1,000 hospitals in India.

This will help bring more patients from places like Central Asia, Africa, and other regions.

Right now, India gets about 2 million patients every year, but they want to attract even more.
