Satyaki Savarkar seeks YouTube video of Rahul Gandhi's speech
Satyaki Savarkar, the grandnephew of V D Savarkar, has asked the court to tell YouTube to give them the original video of a speech by Rahul Gandhi.
This is because the CD they had with the video didn't work in court.
The speech was about V D Savarkar, and Satyaki says Rahul made false claims.
They want the video and some extra details from YouTube to prove their case.
Rahul's lawyer says they will respond in the next hearing.
Satyaki Savarkar filed an application in court to direct YouTube to produce the original video of Rahul Gandhi's speech.
The CD containing the video evidence was found to be blank during the court proceedings.
Satyaki's lawyer requested metadata and tamper-proof digital formats of the video and newspaper reports.
Rahul's lawyer opposed the plea for adjournment, citing apex court directions for a day-to-day trial.
The next hearing is scheduled for December 11.
