Jabalpur Senior Couple Lose ₹22 Lakh in Digital Arrest Scam

Jabalpur Senior Couple Lose ₹22 Lakh in Digital Arrest Scam

Some bad people tricked an elderly couple in India.

They pretended to be police officers from a serious government agency.

They told the couple they were in trouble for crimes they did not commit.

Then they said the couple could not talk to anyone and had to stay 'digitally arrested.'

That meant the couple could not reach out for help.

The tricksters made them take money out of their savings account.

The scared couple gave the money to the bad people.

Later, the couple realized it was all a lie.

They told the police, who are now looking for the bad people.

Real police and banks never ask for money over the phone.
