Jio Marks 10 Years With 46% Bengal Telecom Market Share
Reliance Jio has been providing mobile services for 10 years.
It has become the largest wireless telecom company in Bengal.
In its first month, Jio had 11.4 lakh subscribers.
By June 2026, it had 375.8 lakh subscribers.
This means it added 364.5 lakh users.
Jio had 46% of the wireless market in Bengal.
It has been the market leader there since January 2020.
Akash Ambani said Jio helped expand 5G, connect homes and businesses, and support Digital India.
Reliance Jio completed 10 years of commercial operations on Saturday.
Jio’s subscriber base in Bengal grew at a compounded annual rate of 43.1% since launch.
Its wireless subscribers increased from 11.4 lakh in the first month to 375.8 lakh by June 2026.
Jio held 46% of Bengal’s combined wireless market, which had 817.6 lakh subscribers in June 2026.
Jio has been Bengal’s leading wireless operator since January 2020, according to the report.
