ISI Builds Hamas-Lashkar-Jaish Axis to Replicate Tunnel Warfare in Kashmir
Hamas, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are groups that many countries say use violence to achieve their goals.
Pakistan's military and its spy organization, called the ISI, are reportedly helping these groups work together.
India's security experts are worried about this new teamwork.
They think the goal is to copy tunnel fighting from a place called Gaza.
Tunnels are secret underground passages that fighters use.
Experts from an Indian think tank called the Usanas Foundation wrote a report about this.
The report says the groups want to build tunnels in a region called Kashmir.
People in Pakistan have held rallies supporting the fight in Gaza.
Some speakers say the struggles in Gaza and Kashmir are the same.
India's security officials believe this could lead to more attacks in the future.
Indian security agencies have flagged emerging links between Hamas and Pakistan-based terror groups Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
The Usanas Foundation report says Pakistan's ISI and military establishment are fostering a tactical alliance to bring LeT and Jaish up to Hamas's operational standards.
Officials say the objective is to replicate Gaza-style tunnel-centric warfare in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and sustain a prolonged confrontation with Indian forces.
Pakistan's propaganda machinery draws parallels between Gaza and Kashmir, fueling anti-Israel sentiment and hostility toward the Jewish community in Pakistan.
The paper cites a Doha meeting between Pakistan's envoy to Qatar Lt. Gen. (R) Muhammad Aamer and senior Hamas official Basem Naim, and warns October 7 drone and glider tactics could be repeated.
