Nothing OS 5.0 Launches August 25 With Android 17
Nothing is preparing a new version of its phone software called Nothing OS 5.0.
It is planned for August 25, 2026, at 3:30 PM IST.
The software will use Android 17 as its foundation.
Nothing may show the update in an online YouTube event.
The update could make menus and other parts of the screen look different.
Possible changes include blurred backgrounds and navigation buttons that appear to float.
The usual single-panel dropdown may be replaced by two separate status areas.
Nothing has not yet confirmed every feature or every phone that will receive the update.
Nothing OS 5.0 is scheduled to launch on August 25, 2026, at 3:30 PM IST.
The update will be based on Android 17 and include new features and upgrades.
Nothing may reveal the software during a YouTube launch event, as it has done in previous years.
