They unloaded a massive amount of iron ore from a ship really, really quickly - the fastest they've ever done it.
This port also successfully handled its first delivery of rock phosphate, which is used to make fertilizer, for a new customer.
This means the port is getting better at moving all sorts of cargo and working with different companies to achieve this success.
Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited (AKPL) achieved a record discharge rate of iron ore.
The port handled 61,500 MT of iron ore in 24 hours.
AKPL successfully handled its first rock phosphate shipment.
The iron ore was imported for JSW Steel.
