Rajasthan's 'My Bus' Initiative Improves Roadways Fleet
The Rajasthan government started a program called 'My Bus-My Responsibility' to make buses better.
The program makes sure that all the people involved with the buses, like mechanics and managers, are responsible for taking care of them.
In the first 20 days, they fixed up 1,100 buses.
They are making sure the buses are clean, safe, and working well.
They are fixing things like the mechanical parts, paint, and other wear and tear.
They want to have half of all the buses fixed by June 15th and all of them fixed by the end of June.
The 'My Bus-My Responsibility' initiative was launched by Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC).
The initiative aims to improve bus comfort, safety, and maintenance.
1,100 buses were serviced for mechanical fitness and upkeep in the first 20 days.
Staff from mechanics to managers are responsible for maintenance.
The corporation aims to service 50% of buses by June 15, completing the fleet by June 30.
