ABVP Urges Maharashtra to Improve, Not Shut Marathi Schools

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad asked Maharashtra not to close Marathi-medium and government schools with few students.

It said these schools should be improved instead.

The group suggested creating a special team and plan for this work.

It also asked the government to investigate leaked examination papers.

Students reportedly face problems with online admissions and seat allotments.

ABVP wanted admissions to happen more smoothly and earlier.

It also called for more teachers and better school buildings in rural areas.

The group asked the government to regulate private coaching classes and their fees.
