MasterChef India Honors Specially-Abled Contestants

MasterChef India is a cooking show that started a new season on January 5, 2026.

This season, the show is celebrating the stories of specially-abled contestants who have shown great determination and passion for cooking.

One contestant, Manisha Sharma, shared how cooking helped her recover from a coma and a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.

Another contestant, Ratna Tamang, lost both his hands in an accident but continues to cook with great skill.

Hussain, who runs a popular pan parlour in Hyderabad, also participates in the show, demonstrating his cooking skills from a wheelchair.

The judges of the show, including Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna, praised these contestants and honored them with signed MasterChef aprons.

The show aims to inspire others by showing that ability is defined by intent and perseverance, not by limitations.
