Delhi CM Rejects Opposition Allegations of Electoral Vote Theft

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta says opposition parties are making misleading claims about stolen votes.

She said the Election Commission has already explained how its process works.

Congress and other groups disagree and want Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign.

Their demand followed a report by The Indian Express.

The report said two election commissioners objected 14 times to parts of the voter-list revision process.

Gupta said Form 6, a form used for voter registration, was not changed.

She said a separate declaration was added during the Special Intensive Revision process.

She also said names may be removed when people move or die.
