Royal Enfield Himalayan 450s Used for British Army Training
The British Army is now using Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 motorcycles for training.
The army is using these bikes to teach soldiers how to ride off-road, plan tactically, and prepare physically and mentally.
This is a new partnership, but Royal Enfield has a history with the British Army, dating back to World War I. The Himalayan 450 is well-suited for this type of training because of its rugged design.
This training will help soldiers improve their skills and confidence for expeditions both at home and abroad.
The bikes will also be displayed at the Motorcycle Live event.
Royal Enfield supplied four Himalayan 450 motorcycles to the British Army.
The bikes are used by the Army’s Motorised Adventure group for training.
The Himalayan 450s were first shown at the Army Motorsport Day.
Training covers technical riding, planning, and off-bike skills.
This partnership highlights the bike's reliability and Royal Enfield's reach.
