Bengal CM to release 1993 police firing report

The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari, is going to make public a report about a sad event that happened in 1993.

Back then, 13 people died during a protest because the police used force.

The report was made by a special group called the Justice (retd) Susanta Chatterjee Commission.

This group was set up by the previous government led by Mamata Banerjee in 2011 to find out what really happened.

Now, the current government is going to share this report with everyone.

There are going to be special events to remember the people who died, called 'Martyrs' Day', on July 21.

Different groups, including the Trinamool Congress and the Congress, will hold their own events to honor the victims.
