US Issues Level 4 Travel Advisory for 20+ Countries
The US government has told Americans not to travel to 22 countries because they are very dangerous.
These places have a lot of fighting, crime, or other problems.
The US also can't help Americans very well if they go to these countries.
The list includes places like Afghanistan, Russia, and Syria.
If you're already in one of these countries, the US says to leave if it's safe to do so.
The government checks these warnings often and updates them if things get better or worse.
The US State Department issued a Level 4 'Do Not Travel' advisory for 22 countries.
Level 4 is the most severe classification, indicating extreme danger due to conflict, instability, and limited US assistance.
Countries included in the advisory are Afghanistan, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Burma, Central African Republic, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Niger, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Yemen.
The advisory is based on factors such as armed conflict, terrorism, widespread crime, civil unrest, kidnapping risks, and the collapse of basic services.
US citizens currently in these countries are urged to leave if it can be done safely.
