Migraine Awareness Workshops Launched in Hyderabad Corporate Offices
Imagine that having a bad headache, called a migraine, isn't just a normal headache.
It's a sickness that makes it hard to think, work, and be happy.
This sickness can make people very tired and unable to do their best at their jobs.
Even though many grown-ups have this problem, most don't know they have it or don't get the right help.
So, a group called PRASHO and a company called Pfizer are working together.
They are going to visit offices in a city called Hyderabad to teach people about migraines.
They want bosses and co-workers to understand what migraine is and how they can help people who have it.
This will make workplaces kinder and help everyone work better.
PRASHO and Pfizer have partnered to conduct Migraine Awareness and Workplace Productivity workshops in Hyderabad.
Migraine is a neurological disease, not just a headache, causing significant disruptions to concentration and productivity.
Globally, migraine is a leading cause of disability, and India loses 3-4% of annual productive time due to it, mainly through presenteeism.
The workshops aim to educate workplaces about migraine, promote early diagnosis, and create supportive environments for affected employees.
Sessions will include interactive learning, coping strategies, workplace adaptation guidance, and surveys for HR teams.
