Adani Group Denies Battery Tie-Up Reports with Chinese Firms
Some reports said Adani Group was planning to work with BYD and Beijing Welion to make batteries in India.
Adani Group, however, said these reports are not true.
The company stated they were not talking with either company and called the reports "baseless" and "misleading."
One report even said Gautam Adani was leading these discussions.
Adani Group said they are focused on other infrastructure projects and is not partnering with these companies.

Bloomberg reported on August 4, 2025, that Adani Group was in talks with BYD and Beijing Welion.
Adani Group called the reports "baseless, inaccurate and misleading."
Adani clarified that it is not exploring any collaboration with BYD for battery manufacturing.
The company stated it is not engaged in discussions with Beijing Welion.
