Keeley Hawes, Freddie Highmore's 'The Assassin' To Premiere in August
Imagine a mom who used to be a secret agent, but now lives on a peaceful island.
Suddenly, her dangerous past catches up to her, and she and her son must run away.
They travel across Europe, trying to stay safe.
The show is about their adventure and how they work together to survive.
Along the way, they'll deal with questions about who the son's dad is.
The show is made by the same people who made "Fleabag," so it should be really interesting.
“The Assassin,” starring Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore, will premiere on BBC Player India.
The six-part thriller follows a retired assassin and her estranged son as they flee a Greek island.
They are forced to go on the run across Europe due to the assassin's dangerous past.
The series explores questions around the son's paternity and the assassin's past life.
“The Assassin” is produced by Two Brothers Pictures, known for “Fleabag.”
