BJP Condemns Police Action Against Unemployed Youth in Hyderabad

A big political leader in India named N. Ramchander Rao is very upset.

He leads the BJP party in a state called Telangana.

Many young people who cannot find jobs went to a sports stadium in Hyderabad to try to get jobs.

Police officers asked them to leave, and the leader says the police were too forceful and even hit some of them.

He thinks it is very sad to use force on young people who are just looking for work.

He says the Congress party, which runs the state, pretends to care about young people in Delhi but treats young people in Telangana harshly.

Rao says Congress promised a job calendar, more jobs, and money for people without jobs, but did not keep those promises.

He says it has been two and a half years since those promises were made.

He believes Congress let down the young people of Telangana.
