BRS Claims Credit for Restarting Kaleshwaram Pump Houses
The Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project is a big water system in Telangana that helps farmers and people get water.
Two pump houses, Nandi Medaram and Gayatri, had stopped working.
A former minister, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, said that the BRS party pushed the state government to restart them.
He said the Congress government tried to stop the project because they were upset with the former chief minister, KCR.
The BRS leaders and the public pressure made the government restart the pumps so the water system can work again.
Former minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar claims BRS protests led to restarting Nandi Medaram and Gayatri pump houses.
BRS leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao were cited as key figures in the push.
The Congress government, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is accused of a political vendetta against the project.
