HYDRAA reclaims public land in Hyderabad
HYDRAA, a government agency in Hyderabad, took back land that was supposed to be public parks and roads.
In Bachupally, they reclaimed 2.30 acres of land worth Rs 300 crore that was meant for a public park but was encroached upon.
They removed illegal structures and put up new fences.
They also cleared another small piece of land next to it.
In Gachibowli, they protected a park by removing new encroachments and marking the land.
In Shamirpet, they cleared a road that had been blocked for over 15 years.
People in these areas are happy that the public spaces are being protected and restored.

HYDRAA plans to restore Saroornagar lake, with over 140 acres encroached upon and 90 acres to be developed within a year.
