Lokaguru Puraskaram Awarded to Dr GV Purnachandu at Guru Purnima Event
A group called Vidyashri Vikas Vahini held a special celebration for Guru Purnima, a day to thank teachers.
They gave a big award called the Lokaguru Puraskaram to Dr GV Purnachandu, a famous writer who helps Telugu literature.
A retired judge, Justice AV Sesha Sai, was the main guest and praised the event.
A professor from Andhra Loyola College talked about how important teachers are.
The ceremony was led by Guttikonda Subbarao, who is the president of a Telugu writers’ group.
Vidyashri Vikas Vahini organized Guru Purnima celebrations and the Lokaguru Puraskara ceremony at Sarvottama Grandhalayam in Vijayawada.
Retired High Court Judge Justice AV Sesha Sai served as chief guest and praised the organization’s promotion of educational, literary, and cultural values.
Retired Andhra Loyola College professor Dr MC Das highlighted the significance of Guru Purnima and the guru–shishya tradition.
The Lokaguru Puraskaram was presented to Dr GV Purnachandu, General Secretary of the Telugu Rachayitala Sangham, for his contributions to Telugu literature.
The ceremony was presided over by Telugu litterateur and President of the Pramukha Telugu Rachayitala Sangham, Guttikonda Subbarao.
